Ambassador Viraj Singh handed over assistance to Samanian High School, Dushanbe

Today Ambassador of India, Mr. Viraj Singh handed over 25 computers peripherals as well as office equipment to the Principal of Samanian High School, Dushanbe. The equipment is meant to enhance the school’s educational infrastructure. Established in the year 2000, the Samanian School caters to the educational needs of children of Afghan refugees in Tajikistan. About 480 children study at the school (230 girls and 230 boys) and the school is also greatly supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan. With the help of Embassy of India, a ‘Computer Lab’ will be established at the school, which will be soon inaugurated.
