Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil) in association with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan organized the India-Tajikistan Pharma Business Meet-2024 in Dushanbe on July 25-26, 2024.
During the opening session, H. E. Mr. Shodikhon Jamshed, Deputy Minister of Health & Social Protection of Population of Republic of Tajikistan, and Ambassador of India to Tajikistan Mr Rajesh Uike addressed the business meet.
A strong Indian pharma delegation, comprising approximately 100 businesspersons and representatives from over 75 different pharmaceutical companies, actively participated in this event. The two-day business meet received an overwhelming positive response from the Tajik business community and local pharma companies.
Discussions during the business meet spanned the entire spectrum of pharmaceutical sector cooperation, including local value addition and manufacturing, investment and export promotion, as well as proposals to collaborate in the field of traditional medicine between interested business entities from both sides.
