ITEC Day 2024

Embassy of India, Dushanbe hosted a vibrant ITEC Day, uniting over 300 alumni to celebrate knowledge-sharing with the spirit of cooperation and capacity building –  hallmarks of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) program.
Ambassador Mr. Rajesh Uike highlighted ITEC’s transformative impact, empowering 3,000+ Tajik professionals in government and private sectors while supporting Tajikistan’s development efforts through skills enhancement and human resource development.
Now an annual tradition, this cherished event featured this year the felicitation of 11 distinguished alumni, the launch of a dedicated WhatsApp channel for ITEC alumni, inspiring testimonials, and captivating performances by Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre students, ITEC and ICCR artists, and a stunning fusion of traditional Tajik music by the renowned AVESTO band.
