Ambassador Mr. Rajesh Uike attended the book launch & academic seminar for Prof. (Dr.) Sanavbarbonu Vohidova's new book 'Yode Az Hindi Buzurg' / 'A Memory of Great India' at the Institute of Asian and European Studies, Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.
Inspired by Prof. Vohidova’s visits to India, the book compiles articles & papers exploring India's rich history, culture, and civilization—and their profound historical connections with Tajikistan.
The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Khushvakhtzoda Kobiljon, President of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Mr. Haydarzoda Rustam, Director of the Institute, and other distinguished members of academic community. The engaging discussions generated ideas and insights to deepen academic collaboration between leading think tanks and research institutions in India and Tajikistan.
Ambassador also presented copies of the book 'Tracing the Trail of Indo-Tajik Cultural Link through Past and Present: Case Studies of Various Art Forms' by Dr. Nandini Bhattacharya (published by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, Kolkata) to the Rahul Sankrityayan Centre for Indian Studies at the Academy.
