Ambassador Participates in High-Level International Conference on Water for Sustainable Development

Ambassador Mr. Rajesh Uike participated in the 4th High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development" (2018–2028), held in Dushanbe under the Dushanbe Water Process.

The Ambassador delivered India's country statement during the plenary session and highlighted India's people-centric and implementation-focused approach to water security, sanitation, river rejuvenation and sustainable water management through flagship initiatives including Jal Jeevan Mission, Swachh Bharat Mission and Namami Gange.

The Conference brought together leaders, policymakers and development partners to advance international cooperation on sustainable water management ahead of the 2026 UN Water Conference.
