Meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection

Dr. S.P. Yadav, Director General of the International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA), held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Rahmonzoda Loiq Shirali, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. Ambassador Mr. Rajesh Uike was also present during the meeting.

The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in snow leopard conservation, including collaboration on population estimation, scientific monitoring, capacity building of frontline personnel and protected area management. The meeting also highlighted the benefits of Tajikistan joining the International Big Cat Alliance platform to further strengthen conservation.
