Embassy of India in Dushanbe celebrated Republic Day 2025 

The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at the Embassy of India in Dushanbe. The event commenced with Ambassador H.E. Mr. Rajesh Uike ceremoniously unfurling the National Flag in the forecourt of the Chancery, in the presence of over 200 members from the Indian community and friends of India in Dushanbe. 

2.        The unfurling of the National Flag was followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Ambassador Uike then read out the President of India's Address to the Nation, delivered on the eve of Republic Day 2025. The Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupdi Murmu, reflected on India’s journey over the last 75 years, highlighting the nation's accomplishments and paying homage to the freedom fighters and members of the Constituent Assembly who prepared the country's Constitution. 

3. In his remarks, Ambassador Uike warmly welcomed the members of the Indian community and extended Republic Day greetings. He emphasized the importance of Republic Day celebrations and spoke about the enduring relationship between India and Tajikistan, underlining the strong people-to-people contacts, mutual respect and cooperation between two countries.   

4.        The cultural segment of the celebration was presented by the students of the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center. With patriotic songs, dance and music, the young performers brought to life the diversity and heritage of India. The celebrations concluded with the serving of traditional Indian delicacies and tea.
